Cool is often the excuse to do something stupid and lazy and put it under some popular banner of 'achievement'.

A journalist (to W.S. Gilbert): How's Bloodygore coming along?
W.S.G.: It's not Bloodygore! It's Ruddigore.
Journalist: Oh well, it's the same thing!
W.S.G.: So I suppose if I say I admire your ruddy countenance, it's the same as saying I like your bloody cheek?! Well it isn't. And I don't.

How else will our economy grow without Globalization? We have to have more people in the market to generate more revenue for everyone.

I am not sure I understand how this could be a negative thing. As long as it is regulated properly, child labor, etc.
