Humans, as a source of Energy are fueled by food and water. Without fuel a human will die. Fortunately for them, they have emerged from the evolutionary process as the best survivors. Most humans today, obtain food and drink with ease and live comfortably. While this would suffice for any other organism the high intelligence of humans force them to seek more effective ways to live. They must distance themselves from death indefinitely. Everything a human does, be it learning something new, making money, or rasing a family is all an effort to reach a final conclusion. While we may never reach that conclusion we do know where the search started and why. At the beginning of all creation on earth, a single organism, constructed out of luck knew only one thing that would compel it to provide for itself, and this was to resist death, to survive. This being the oldest trait passed to all organisms manifests itself in humans as their never ending quest for answers.
The effort made by humans to survive is a product of evolution and can be observed to a lesser degree in any organism. One of the first problems assesed by evolution was protection. Living things can easily be killed when no defene is mounted. To diminish damage, organisms developed the simple ability of detecting a physical threat and minimizing its negative impact. This detection was the start of feeling pain. Since pain is relative, joy was also created by default though originally joy was merely the absence or pain. With each passing generation more effective ways to prolong survival through better threat detection/reaction were developed and were complemented by improvements to the physical structure. Eventually the system became so complex that organisms were able to detect multiple threats at once and deal with them intelligently. As a result of this, the single feeling of joy was broken down into several different feelings that represented the status and safety level of the organism. Eventually organisms could do more than just feel pain and react. They developed methods to scan the area around them. This allowed them not only to avoid threats alltogether, but also to be aware of areas that offered protection and food. This is where the concept of Happiness really began to develope. For example, a simple early organism may have strove for only two things, to be in an area free of predators and have food to eat. It would attain peak happiness when both the conditions were met. It would be less happy when only one or none of the conditions were met and seek means to reach new peak happiness. As organisms became increasingly complicated so did the ability to achieve peak happiness. Humans are the current pinacle of this system. They share the same basic
physical threat detection that originated in the earliest organism but they can also analyze the world around them and make decisions that they believe will move them towards peak happiness. It is this pursuit of 'peak happiness' that motivates humans to act as they do. Unfortunately each individuals definition of peak happiness is not only different,
but constanly changing with the absorption of new information and development of new questions.
For a human to achieve peak happiness they must have a complete understanding of everything that they view as a possible threat towards them, know that no new threats will appear, and know that the possible threats have no way of ever effecting them. Obviously a human is not able to reach these conclusions. Humans will always generate more questions than answers and thus will never achieve peak happiness. While I did not discuss procreation in this paper it is undeniable that organisms are drawn to procreate because of the 'peak happiness' theory. Sex creates feelings of euphoria in both partners and upon orgasm it is plausible that the feeling recieved is a temporary dose of 'peak happiness.' Since procreation is necessary for evolution it makes sense that 'peak happiness' and orgasms have been related since the start of evolution.

To get more replies on this you need to shorten it but i believe that happiness reaps within ourselves whether that is money or women men etc. Whatever makes you happy. i believe that all the human race, have a small empty slot inside therselves waiting to be filled. This slot may be filled by allsorts of stuff but this stuff is temporary. what you need to do is find the permenant solution to happiness fill this gap with what you believe in. and what is right to you. When you do something good like helping somebody you get a warm feeling you feel on top of the world belive me this gap will be filled permenantily if you keep doing good. Evil emptys the gap makes it spotless no sign of happiness or life just evil.
