xx Co worker advice
« Thread started on: Jul 30th, 2015, 9:45pm »

I feel so weird asking this but I know that you all will give good advice.

So I befriended a lady that I worked with and told her a few intimate things about my life (I know...not smart). We also talked about people at the job and things going on in her world as well. Lately people have started mentioning some stuff that I've only said in conversations with her and I feel like it could be ruining my reputation on the job. My track record hasn't been that good in the past few years with this company because I've made some mistakes in my short time there. The lady I befriended recently left the company and we no longer talk as much, but I'm really upset that she discussed our conversations with other co workers. I'm actually contemplating quitting because I'm so embarrassed by the things that she's told.

My question is should I ask her about what she said even though no one has said anything directly to me and I have no solid proof (just a really good hunch)? If so, what would you say to her? I don't want seem paranoid, but I want to find out what was said. Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.
